Q-Bloq Mineral

The Q-Bloq Mineral counterweight is a clever and modular weight system.

The inside of the weight is highly reinforced with steel bars in strategic places to increase strength. The steel structure is surrounded by a mix of concrete and magnetite which together creates a very strong weight with smaller dimensions than standard concrete/magnetite weights.

The Mineral weights shares many design features with the high-end Q-Bloqs in cast iron and can be a good alternative for the price-conscious costumer looking for a strong and modular weight system with an appealing design making it a good match also for modern tractors. 

It can be fitted either to the tractors rear or front linkage and fits both category 2 and 3.

To have the correct weight distribution is very important for several reasons. But when attaching implements to the tractors front or rear, the weight distribution of the tractor is altered. 
Adding a counterweight to the correct position to the tractor compensates the load given by the implement (and its potential cargo) and redistributes the weight of the machinery to a favorable position. This gives the following advantages;

 - Better traction
 - Reduced wear of tires
 - Reduced strain on the axles and surrounding components
 - Avoiding power jump effect
 - Reduced fuel consumption

The Q-Bloq Mineral weight is available in three different main weights, 600 kg, 800 kg and 1050 kg. Optional add-on weights of 300 kg and 600 kg can be mounted to all main weights to increase the total ballast weight. The add-on weight is easily attached and locked with a pin than is supplied with the add-on weight.

To increase road safety the Q-Bloq Mineral weights can also be equipped with the Q-Bumper made out of high quality aluminium. The Q-Bumber is 2,5 m wide fully extended. The Q-Bumper has a shock absorbtion function for increased safety and comes with LED lights and reflectors for maximum visibilty.

These weights are offered in standard black (-Q), AGCO grey (-18) and John Deere green (-12).
