BALLASTING BOX, 3-PT,HITCH 2/3

The ballast box is designed as a cost efficient way to ballast your tractor for loader work. 
It is the most economical way to ballast your tractor as you simply fill up the box with concrete to reach the desired weight.

Once filled up and you are ready to go.

Attaching the Ballast box to the tractor is fast and simple as it comes supplied with a lift rod that you first connect to the tractors 3 point lift and then it is easy to hook up the ballast box without any need of a top link. This means that you do not need to leave the drivers seat to connect or disconnect the ballast box once the rod is installed to the arms. 

To have the correct weight distribution is very important for several reasons. But when working with a loader to lift heavy loads, the weight distribution of the tractor is altered. Adding a counterweight to the rear of the tractor compensates the load applied by the loader and its cargo and redistributes the weight to the back of the tractor. This gives the following advantages;

 - Reduced strain on the axles and surrounding components
 - Better traction
 - Reduced wear of tires

The Ballast box is available in two sizes, 800 kg and 1200 kg.
