The new Silocut Range

The Silocut range comes with various options and is available for purchase as of beginning of September 2022 in three different sizes:

M+ L+ XL+

Both the Silocut L+ and XL+ are available with two additional innovations:
bale wrap handler as well as a push out mechanism.

The bale wrap handler makes it possible, after the bale is split, to grab the wrap and net and retain it, negating the need to remove the wrap by hand, increasing operator safety. The bale can be unwrapped, split and placed into the two separate feeder units or directly into the feed wagon or mixer in one process giving substantial time savings. The profile cut “tufftine” versions can be equipped with a push-out mechanism which facilitates the unloading into diet feeders or other areas with limited space.

Customers who have tested the new Silocut L+ were so satisfied, they were reluctant to return the prototypes on completion of the field tests!

The history of Quicke

It started with a lazy attitude towards hay

Our founder, Karl-Ragnar Åström, was a clever entrepreneur who grew tired of handling hay and manure by hand. So he started looking for solutions that would improve his productivity and the solution he came up with was to build Sweden's first front loader. This ultimately led to Quicke, the world’s first drive-in front loader, a few years later and the rest is history...
